About Euclea natalensis A.DC.
Euclea natalensis A.DC., commonly called the Natal guarri, is a dioecious African plant species in the family Ebenaceae. Its distribution extends from Ethiopia and Somalia in the north, southward to the Western Cape of South Africa. This species produces both nectar and pollen. It has hirsute, leathery leaves that grow in an opposite arrangement, and its flower sprays develop from leaf axils. Its spherical fruits appear between October and June.
