About Euchlaena obtusaria (Hübner, 1813)
Euchlaena obtusaria, commonly known as the obtuse euchlaena moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. Jacob Hübner first described the species in 1813. It occurs in North America, with recorded ranges extending from Alberta east to Nova Scotia, and south to Florida and Texas. Its habitat includes mixed wood forests. Adults have a wingspan ranging from 27 to 48 mm. They can be seen in flight from April to September. Larvae of this species feed on plants of the Rosa and Impatiens genera.
