About Euchiton sphaericus (Willd.) Holub

Euchiton sphaericus (Willd.) Holub is an erect annual herb that grows up to 80 centimetres (32 inches) tall, with a taproot. Its stems are covered in white woolly hairs. The leaves are green and hairless on their upper surface, and white and woolly on their underside. This plant produces spherical clusters of flower heads, and the flowers within these heads can be yellow, cream, or brown. Euchiton sphaericus is widespread across Australia. It can be found in all six Australian states, as well as the Northern Territory and Norfolk Island.
