Erythronium rostratum W.Wolf, commonly known as yellow trout lily, yellow fawnlily, beaked trout lily, or golden-star, is a plant species native to south-central United States. It has been recorded growing in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ohio, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Tennessee. This species produces egg-shaped bulbs that can reach up to 20 mm in length. Its leaves are lanceolate, growing up to 20 cm long. The scape can reach up to 10 cm in height, and bears a single yellow flower.
