Erythrolamprus jaegeri, commonly called Jaeger's ground snake, is a species of snake belonging to the subfamily Dipsadinae of the family Colubridae. It is native to South America, and there are two currently recognized subspecies. This species occurs in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It can be found in a wide range of habitats, including forests, shrublands, grasslands, and freshwater wetlands, at altitudes ranging from near sea level up to 1,300 meters (4,300 feet). Erythrolamprus jaegeri reproduces by laying eggs, meaning it is oviparous.
