Erythranthe parishii is an annual herb that reaches a maximum height of 50 centimeters. It has a stout, hairy stem. Its leaves are arranged oppositely, are oval or broadly lance-shaped, and grow up to 7.5 centimeters long. The narrow, tubular base of the flower is enclosed within a ribbed calyx made of sepals with pointed lobes. The five-lobed flower is almost white, and is often tinged with pink.
