Erora laeta, commonly known as the early hairstreak, is a butterfly species that belongs to the Lycaenidae family. It is distributed across eastern Canada and the United States, and its natural habitat is made up of deciduous and mixed woodland areas. The wingspan of this butterfly measures between 21 and 24 mm. The larvae of Erora laeta are associated with American beech (Fagus grandifolia), and may also associate with beaked hazelnut (Corylus cornuta). The larvae feed on the leaves and fruits of their host plants.
