About Eriogonum rosense A.Nelson & P.B.Kenn.

This species is the small perennial herb Eriogonum rosense A.Nelson & P.B.Kenn. It grows as mats up to around 20 centimeters wide on dry, rocky mountain slopes. It forms clumps of glandular, coarsely woolly leaves, each approximately one centimeter long. It produces inflorescences held up by naked, woolly stalks. The flower clusters are generally rounded, and the flowers range from bright yellow to orange streaked with red.
