About Eriogonum reniforme Torr. & Frém.

Eriogonum reniforme Torr. & Frém. is an annual herb that reaches a maximum height between 5 and 40 centimeters. Its leaves grow at the base of the plant; they are rounded to spade-shaped, not consistently kidney-shaped, covered in a woolly texture, and measure 1 to 2 centimeters long. The bare reddish inflorescence is covered in small whitish glands. The plant produces small clusters of flowers that start yellow and turn red as they mature. Its flowers have tepals of varying shapes, with the inner tepals being somewhat elongated.
