About Eriogonum latifolium Sm.

Eriogonum latifolium Sm. is a variable-sized perennial herb. Its height is partially dependent on how exposed it is to the stiff maritime winds of its habitat. It can be quite small, or sprawl to a maximum height of 70 centimeters. Its pale white-green leaves are oval, woolly, and sometimes waxy, with most leaves growing at the plant's base. If an erect stem is present, leaves can grow upward along it. A cluster of pinkish flowers grows at the end of each branch; the flowers can also be white or red.
