About Erigeron arenarioides (D.C.Eaton ex A.Gray) Rydb.

Erigeron arenarioides, commonly called sand fleabane and Wasatch fleabane, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Asteraceae family. This species has only been found in northern Utah, which is located in the western United States. It is a perennial herb that can grow up to 30 cm (1 foot) tall. It typically produces several flower heads. Each flower head contains 10 to 25 blue ray florets, which surround a central disc made up of many small yellow disc florets. The species' Latin scientific epithet arenarioides translates to "sandwort-like," a name that refers to its narrow leaves.
