Ericameria linearifolia (DC.) Urbatsch & Wussow is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae family, commonly called narrowleaf goldenbush and interior goldenbush. This species is native to California, Nevada, southwestern Utah, and Arizona. It is a shrub that reaches up to 150 cm (59 in) in height. A single plant can produce multiple yellow flower heads, each borne at the tip of a long, leafless, unbranched stem. Each flower head holds up to 18 ray florets and up to 60 disc florets. It grows in dry creek beds, deserts, mesas, and mountainsides with rocky or sandy soil.
