About Erica peltata Andrews

Erica peltata Andrews is an erect shrub that flowers in late summer, from December through April. It produces many small, 2 mm long reddish-pink flowers, each with a cup-shaped corolla. This species is distributed across south-facing hills and lower mountain slopes. Its range extends from Riviersonderend in the west, passing through the areas around Swellendam, Heidelberg and Riversdale, to George and Humansdorp in the east.
