About Erica marifolia Aiton

Erica marifolia is a plant species that belongs to the genus Erica and is a member of the fynbos vegetation. This species is endemic to South Africa's Western Cape, specifically occurring in the Cape Peninsula, on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, in Disa Gorge, at Constantiaberg, and on the cliffs above Kalk Bay and St. James. Some of its subpopulations have been disturbed by plantations, and the species is currently threatened by erosion that occurs after fires.
