Erica macowanii, commonly called Cape Muslim heath and known as slamseheide in Afrikaans, is a species in the Erica genus and a member of the fynbos vegetation. This plant species is endemic to South Africa's Western Cape. One recognized subspecies exists: Erica macowanii subsp. lanceolata (Bolus) E.G.H.Oliv. & I.M.Oliv.
