About Erica chloroloma Lindl.

Erica chloroloma is a plant species that belongs to the genus Erica, and it is a component of fynbos vegetation. This species is endemic to South Africa's Eastern Cape and Western Cape provinces, where its distribution ranges from Wilderness to the Great Fish River Estuary. At present, Erica chloroloma exists only as between ten and fifteen fragmented populations, and the size of its available habitat is continuously decreasing. Invasive alien plants are one recognized cause of this habitat loss.
