Erica banksia Andrews, which is also referred to as Erica banksii, is a plant species in the genus Erica that is a component of fynbos vegetation. This species is endemic to the Western Cape. Erica banksia has three recognized subspecies: Erica banksia subsp. banksia, Erica banksia subsp. comptonii (T.M.Salter) E.G.H.Oliv. & I.M.Oliv., and Erica banksia subsp. purpurea (Andrews) E.G.H.Oliv. & I.M.Oliv.
