Eremothera refracta (S.Watson) W.L.Wagner & Hoch is a species of evening primrose commonly called narrowleaf suncup. It is native to the southwestern United States, where it grows especially in desert areas. This species is an annual herb that produces a hairy, red or reddish-green leafy stem, reaching a maximum height of around 45 centimeters. Its nodding inflorescence bears flowers with white petals a few millimeters long that turn reddish as they wither. The fruit is a straight or coiling capsule that can grow up to 5 centimeters long.
