The green-capped eremomela (also called the greencap eremomela), with the scientific name Eremomela scotops, is a species of bird. It was formerly classified as part of the "Old World warbler" group, but is now placed in the family Cisticolidae. This species can be found in Angola, Botswana, Burundi, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, and dry savanna.
