About Epirrhoe tristata (Linnaeus, 1758)

Epirrhoe tristata has a wingspan of 24 to 26 mm. Its forewings have a white base colour, and feature a light brown central band marked with white lines along its edges. The outer margins of all of its wings are black, with a small, faint line running through them. This species is distributed across the Palearctic realm. In western Europe, its range extends from Scandinavia in the north to an area just south of the Alps, and stretches east through the Caucasus, Russia, Siberia, and the Russian Far East.
