Epinotia brunnichana (Linnaeus, 1767) is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. Its distribution covers most of western, central, and northern Europe, the Near East, and extends eastward into the eastern Palearctic realm. Within this eastern range, it has been officially recorded from Russia, Kazakhstan, China, and Japan. This moth has a wingspan measuring 18 to 22 millimetres, which equals 0.7 to 0.9 inches. Adult moths are active in flight from July to October, and this timing varies based on the specific location the population inhabits. The larvae of Epinotia brunnichana roll the leaves of plants from the genera Betula, Corylus, and Salix, and feed from inside the rolled leaves.
