In the United States, this species is found between Georgia and southern Florida. It has also been recorded in Cuba, and in xeric habitats in Mexico, specifically on the Yucatan Peninsula and along Mexico's west coast. The wingspan of Epidromia rotundata ranges from 40 to 45 mm, and adult moths are active in flight from April through September.
