About Enuliophis sclateri (Boulenger, 1894)
Enuliophis sclateri, commonly called the Colombian longtail snake, sock-headed snake, and white-headed snake, is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. It is the only species in the monotypic genus Enuliophis, and it is native to Central America and northern South America. The confirmed geographic range of E. sclateri includes Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia. Its preferred natural habitat is forest, occurring at altitudes ranging from sea level up to 1,640 meters (5,380 feet). E. sclateri reproduces via oviparity.
