Eirenis collaris, commonly known as the collared dwarf racer or collared dwarf snake, is a non-venomous snake species belonging to the family Colubridae. This species is native to West Asia, where it occurs in eastern Turkey, the Caucasus (a range that extends marginally into Europe), Iraq, and Iran. The Reptile Database additionally records this species from Lebanon and Bulgaria. The collared dwarf snake typically inhabits dry, rocky plains with vegetation adapted to arid conditions. It also occurs in mountainous areas, and is often found in close proximity to water.
