Egybolis is a monotypic moth genus in the family Erebidae, which was erected by Jean Baptiste Boisduval in 1847. The genus contains only one species, Egybolis vaillantina, commonly called the African peach moth. This species was first described by Caspar Stoll in 1790. It is found in the Afrotropical realm. The wingspan of this moth is approximately 60 millimeters. Adult moths of this species are active during the day. Their larvae feed on peach trees and plants belonging to the genus Sapindus.
