Ectropis excursaria, commonly known as the twig looper, is a species of moth belonging to the family Geometridae. This species occurs in eastern Australia. The adult wingspan ranges from 30 to 45 mm, and female individuals are larger than male individuals. The larvae of this moth feed on a broad variety of plants, including Hedera helix, Pelargonium zonale, Juglans regia, Salvia officinalis, Pinus radiata, Rosa odorata, Gardenia jasminoides, Citrus limon, Hardenbergia violacea, as well as species from the genera Cassia, Acacia, Eucalyptus, Bursaria and Hakea.
