About Echium rosulatum Lange

Echium rosulatum Lange is a perennial plant that is typically multi-stemmed, with stems that grow decumbent (trailing along the ground) or ascending. Its leaves are partially to fully covered in fine silky hairs (sericeous), with sparse hair coverage, a small number of stiff bristles, and short hairs. The basal leaves are elliptic or oblanceolate in shape, arranged into a rosette, and have a faintly distinguishable petiole (leaf stalk). Stem leaves vary in shape: they are oblong or elliptic on the middle part of the stem, and narrowly ovate to ovate-lanceolate on the upper portion of the stem.
