About Echinaria capitata (L.) Desf.

Echinaria is a genus of plants in the grass family that is found across Eurasia and North Africa. Only one species in this genus is currently known: Echinaria capitata (L.) Desf. This species is native to the Mediterranean Region, and also to Southwest and Central Asia, growing across a range from Portugal and Morocco in the west to Kazakhstan in the east.
