About Echeveria lilacina Kimnach & Moran

Echeveria lilacina Kimnach & Moran reaches approximately 15 centimeters in height. It has silvery-grey, spoon-shaped, fleshy leaves that grow in a symmetrical rosette with a diameter between 12 and 25 centimeters. This species grows slowly and is tolerant of drought. Its flowers are pale pink or coral-colored, and they emerge from short, small arching racemes at the top of 15-centimeter-long reddish stems. Its flowering period runs from late winter to early spring. This species is native to Nuevo Leon, located in northern Mexico. It grows in rocky habitats at quite high elevations. Echeveria lilacina is cultivated as an ornamental plant for garden planting and as a potted plant.
