Eana argentana is a moth species that belongs to the family Tortricidae. This species has a wide distribution across Europe, where it can be found in Great Britain, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, North Macedonia, Greece, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic region, and Russia. It is also found in western North America, with confirmed records from Alaska, Alberta, Arizona, British Columbia, California, Maine, Montana, New Mexico, Washington, and Wyoming. Eana argentana inhabits high-elevation open habitats. The wingspan of adult moths ranges from 20 to 26 mm. Adult individuals have uniformly whitish forewings, and their hindwings are light grey. Adult moths are active in flight from July to August. The larvae of this moth feed on species within the grass family Gramineae.
