About Dysphania palmyra (Stoll)

Dysphania palmyra (Stoll), commonly called the long blue tiger moth or blue day moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. This species was first formally described by Caspar Stoll in 1790. It can be found in India and Sri Lanka. Its caterpillars are recorded feeding on Carallia brachiata and Camellia sinensis. This species' colouration is very similar to that of Dysphania percota.
