Drymarchon corais, commonly called the indigo snake or yellow-tail cribo, is a nonvenomous snake species that belongs to the Colubridae family. It is a large colubrid. Its known range covers South America, including the countries of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela, as well as the islands of Trinidad and Tobago.
