Drosera whittakeri Planch. forms rosettes that measure 4 to 8 cm in diameter. Its broadly spathulate leaves are arranged in this rosette; leaf color can be green, orange-yellow, or red, and leaves are 10 to 15 mm long by 9 to 13 mm wide. The species can produce up to 20 total white flowers, with multiple flowers open at the same time. In its native range, the main flowering period runs from May to November, though flowers can appear at any time of year.
