About Drosera stolonifera subsp. humilis (Planch.) N.Marchant
This is Drosera stolonifera subsp. humilis (Planch.) N.Marchant. Drosera stolonifera, sometimes called the leafy sundew, is a tuberous perennial carnivorous plant species in the genus Drosera that is endemic to Western Australia. This species produces 2 to 3 semi-erect lateral stems that reach 10 to 15 cm in length. It is most closely related to Drosera purpurascens, but differs from it in several traits, including plant height and petiole length. It is native to a number of swampy sites ranging from around Perth south to Pinjarra. It grows in peaty, water-logged soils within swamp heathland, and flowers from September to October. It will flower en masse after a bushfire.
