About Drosera praefolia Tepper
Drosera praefolia Tepper is a perennial tuberous carnivorous plant species belonging to the genus Drosera. This species is endemic to South Australia. It grows as a rosette that measures 4 to 6 cm in diameter, and its leaves are green, or sometimes red in color. Its native range within South Australia covers the south-east of the state, extending from the southern Fleurieu Peninsula south to Kangaroo Island. It typically grows in lateritic clay-sand, loam, or decomposed shale soils located in open woodland. Its flowering season occurs from April to May.
