Its native range spans from Manjimup south-west to the area around the Scott River, and east to Cape Riche. It grows in winter-wet sandy soils within heathland habitats. The plant reaches a height of 15 to 20 cm, produces a basal rosette of leaves, and bears alternate cauline leaves along its stem. It flowers in October.
