About Drosera murfetii Lowrie & Conran
Drosera murfetii Lowrie & Conran is a carnivorous plant species in the sundew family, endemic to western Tasmania, Australia. It is closely related to and similar in appearance to Drosera arcturi, but can be distinguished by several unique traits. Unlike D. arcturi, D. murfetii typically only produces one or two carnivorous leaves, with all remaining leaves being non-carnivorous. It also differs from D. arcturi in its larger overall size and its tendency to grow more flowers per scape.
