Drasteria scrupulosa is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species is native to North America, with confirmed recorded occurrences in the states of California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Utah. Its natural habitat is open sagebrush steppe environments. The forewings of adult individuals measure between 18 and 21 millimeters in length. In California, adult Drasteria scrupulosa have been observed in flight during the months of July and August.
