Drasteria pallescens, commonly known as the cowhead arches, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was first formally described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote and Coleman Townsend Robinson in 1866. It is distributed across North America, ranging from Alberta and Saskatchewan in the north, southward to Texas and Baja California. The wingspan of adult Drasteria pallescens measures approximately 35 millimeters. In the northern portion of its range, adult moths are active during June. In the southern parts of its distribution, adults are likely active earlier in the year.
