Dracophyllum pronum, commonly called trailing neinei, is a sprawling shrub species that is endemic to New Zealand's South Island. It was first formally described by Walter Oliver in 1928. Its specific epithet 'pronum' refers to the species' prostrate growth habit. It is a member of the heath family, Ericaceae, and grows in montane and subalpine regions. This shrub reaches a height between 1 cm (0.4 in) and 25 cm (9.8 in).
