About Dracophyllum longifolium (J.R. & G.Forst.) R.Br.
Dracophyllum longifolium, commonly called inaka, has thin branches that develop ring-shaped marks as old leaves die away. Its long, needle-like leaves are 3–5 millimetres (0.12–0.20 in) wide and grow up to 25 centimetres (9.8 in) long, ending in a pointed tip. The leaves often display soft coloration, ranging from green through orange to brown. This species is a long-lived plant, with individuals capable of living up to 220 years.
