About Dracaena angustifolia (Medik.) Roxb.

Dracaena angustifolia (Medik.) Roxb. is native to an area stretching from Bangladesh, through Indo-China and Malesia, to northern Australia. In Vietnam, this species is locally known as phất dủ lá hẹp. It is a shrub that grows up to 3 meters tall. Its leaves measure 150 to 250 millimeters in length and 20 to 30 millimeters in width. This plant produces yellowish flowers that are approximately 20 millimeters long. The leaves of Dracaena angustifolia are used as a natural green food colourant.
