Draba hispida Willd. is a perennial flowering plant. It forms a basal rosette of obovate, hairy leaves, and its erect stems bear a small number of yellow flowers. This species is native to Asia Minor, specifically north-eastern Turkey, the Central Anatolia Region, and the Caucasus Mountains. It grows in subalpine habitats, occurring at elevations up to 3,200 metres (10,500 ft) above sea level.
