Dorstenia brasiliensis Lam. is a herbaceous plant species belonging to the family Moraceae, within the order Rosales. This plant is native to northeastern and central South America, and it grows across most of Brazil. In Brazil, it occurs in the Amazon, Atlantic Forest, and Cerrado ecoregions. It can also be found on Trinidad and Tobago, which lie off the northeast coast of South America.
