Description: Adult Dorcadion tauricum have a body length ranging from 11 to 14 millimetres, which equals 0.43 to 0.55 inches. The body is primarily black, but the legs are brownish-red. The antennae range in color from brownish-red to black, while the first segment of the antennae is red. The species' suture and marginal strips are bright in color, and visible remnants of the shoulder band are present.
