Adults of Dorcadion pedestre measure 11–16 millimetres (0.43–0.63 inches) in length. Their body is black, while the first segments of their antennae and legs are red. The elytra are dull in color, feature a white suture, and bear a narrow marginal stripe at the top of the shoulder.
