Dipodium squamatum (G.Forst.) R.Br. is a mycoheterotrophic orchid species that belongs to the tribe Cymbidieae. According to the World Checklist of Selected Plant Families, this species is distributed across New Caledonia, Vanuatu, and Australia. In New Caledonia, it grows throughout Grande Terre and the Isle of Pines. In Vanuatu, it occurs on the southern islands of Aneityum and Erromango.
