Diplacodes melanopsis (Martin, 1901) is a species of dragonfly belonging to the family Libellulidae, commonly known as the blackfaced percher or black-faced percher. It is a small dragonfly that occurs on the Australian mainland, ranging from around Brisbane to the border between South Australia and Victoria. Mature males have a black face and black front of the body, with a red abdomen that bears black markings. Females are amber and yellow with black markings.
