About Diplacodes lefebvrii (Rambur, 1842)
Diplacodes lefebvrii is a small dragonfly species. Its eyes are dark brown on the upper section and violaceous on the lower section. In fully mature adult individuals, the prothorax, thorax, abdomen, and legs are all completely black. Sub-adult individuals have additional yellow markings on the sides of the thorax, and yellow spots on abdominal segments 4 through 8. This dragonfly occurs in open wastelands and freshwater habitats.
