About Digrammia ocellinata (Guenée)

Digrammia ocellinata, commonly known as the faint-spotted angle or locust looper, is a species of moth in the family Geometridae. Achille Guenée first formally described this species in 1857. This moth is found in eastern United States, and the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. The wingspan of adult Digrammia ocellinata ranges from 21 to 27 mm. Adult moths are active in flight from April through October. The larvae of this species feed on the leaves of two tree species: Robinia pseudoacacia and Gleditsia triacanthos.
